They are some of the highest performance and highest spec. cordless rotary tools on the market right now, such as being rated 3Ah, having a brushless motor, and having other features
M8 & M3
The M8 & M3 are also reasonably different to the other tools.
They have 8 volt and 3.7 volt batteries, and not 12 volt batteries.
The M3 is also only for the lightest duty work.
8240, 8220, & M12
The 8240, 8220, & M12 are all 12 volt battery, cordless rotary tools.
However, some of the key differences between these tools are:

The Dremels use the EZ Twist Nose Cap system, and the APEXFORGE uses the keyless 3 jaw chuck
